Chest and Triceps

Continuing from what was a very intense and lengthy Monday session, today my focus was on chest and triceps; with a lot of my exercises identical to shoulders and arms day, the session went smoothly, and was a lot shorter by comparison to yesterday (about an hour excluding abs compared to Monday’s 2 hour session). My form continues to improve but the routine was not without its hiccups – my back was not fully straightened through standing barbell, dumbbell and cable exercises – pointed out by my training partner, and furthermore I completely messed up on low-to-high cable chest flys, my interpretation having been a contorted version of high-to-low chest flys, I looked very strange – won’t happen again!

As always, I ended the workout with abs, learning from Monday’s session to not increase sets but instead increase weight; and finally, a short swim and a stretch in both the steam room & sauna.
